Did you know that a recent study shows that healthy dietary patterns significantly reduced the risk of chronic kidney disease. A healthy diet in the study was described as patients who ate higher amounts of vegetables, fruits, chickpeas, nuts, whole grains, fish and ate lower amounts of dairy, red and processed meats, sodium and sugar-sweetened beverages such as soda.
