Clinical Pharmacology Consultation

What is a clinical pharmacologist? A clinical pharmacologist or a doctor of pharmacology is an expert who specializes in the study of the effects of drugs on the body. Clinical pharmacologists have an in-depth knowledge of how medications work and how medications can interact with each other.

Through our partnership with Western New England University College of Pharmacy, we have a clinical pharmacologist on site who may help you with a number of problems including examining your medicines to help you minimize the risk of drug interactions and adverse effects, helping you with diabetes or blood pressure control, or even working with your doctors to find cheaper alternatives to the medicines you already take.

If you have questions about your medications, please ask to see our clinical pharmacologist when you visit us.
